John A. “Jack” Doucette – 57, of Saugus and formerly of Wakefield, died at his home on Friday, November 4, 2016.
Born in Melrose, MA on February 25, 1959. He was the son of the late John A. and Nancy J. (Terhune) Doucette. Jack was raised and attended school in Wakefield. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School and the University of Tampa. He worked for Home Depot in Reading at the Pro Desk.
He has been a resident of Saugus for the past 27 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wakefield for many years.
Jack was a loyal husband, brother, uncle and friend. He had a great sense of humor, he was playful and a kid at heart. He was an avid sports fan. He enjoyed spending time at the ocean and swimming. Jack loved animals, especially his good buddy, Lucky the cat.
Family members include his loving wife of 27 years, Louise M. (Budetti) Doucette; his sister, Pamela Babcock and her husband Tom and his niece, Laura Babcock, all of North Reading. Also many loving family members and friends.
His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 8 at 11 AM at the First Baptist Church, 8 Lafayette Street in Wakefield. Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 7 from 4 to 8 PM at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading. Louise, I’m very sorry to hear of Jack’s passing. A long time friend, we shared so many great times together with a host of good company. He will live on in our minds and hearts.
Louise, we are so broken hearted for your loss. Jack was a good friend and funny guy.
