Doreen H. Ingram

Doreen  H.  Ingram – 66, of Methuen, formerly of North Reading, died unexpectedly at her home on Monday, January 31, 2022.

Born in Dorchester, MA on December 6, 1955. She was raised and attended school in North Reading and was a graduate of North Reading High School, Class of 1974. She later attended Northeastern University in Burlington.

Doreen was a stay-at-home mom. She was self-employed in the fabric business. She was empathetic. She loved animals, music and nature. Doreen was very selfless and kindhearted; she would do anything for anyone. She believed music is the universal language to peace, love and understanding. She had a tremendous love of family.

Doreen loved to make jewelry and play her guitar. She loved her Siamese cat Coco. Doreen said that her heart will always be on Looney Hill. She grew up with lots of woods with paths and forts. North Reading will always be her home.

Family members include her loving father Owen J. Ingram and her late mother Miriam J. (Perry) Ingram; her sons, Kenny Giles, Scotty Giles and Patrick Marino; her brother, Danny Ingram and his wife Rhonda; her niece, Kelsey Ingram and her nephew, Ryan Ingram; grandchildren, Kayla Dube, Kayla Murphy, Felicity and Ameila Veach and Joleen Giles.

Her Funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Wednesday, February 9 at 9:15 AM, followed by a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Rt. 62), North Reading. Visitation will be held at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Tuesday, February 8 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.   2. My condolences to Doreen’s family. I grew up on Lee Road with Doreen and we used to climb trees and build forts together, and listen to 45’s.

  4. Very sorry to hear of Doreen’s passing. Had some great times in the early 70’s. She bought my 68 Gibson SG when her interest in playing guitar was in the early stages. My condolences to your family. RIP dear old friend.

  5. So sorry for your loss. Doreen was a neighbor on Pine Ridge and was close in age to my older brothers Chris and Mike who used to hang out with Doreen and her brother Danny. She was a good soul. Condolences to your family.
